This morning...
Danny: Tallulah, did you like the movie last night?
Tallulah: No, I hate it! It's horrible!
She actually slept halfway into the end of the movie. :D

Croc-Crocan
We brought the kids to Crocodile Farm (now, Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center) during our one-week holiday vacation in Palawan last week. Before our scheduled tour started, my brother pointed to a souvenir shop and excitedly told Tallulah, “Look at that big croc!” Surely not amused, Tallulah flatly replied, “That’s not a croc, it’s a stuffed toy croc!Oo nga naman... :D
I’ll post the girls’ holiday photos soon! :)

Spell Hanna Tallulah
Izy (my niece): Tallulah, can you spell your name?
Tallulah: (trying to spell Hanna) Uhm, H...B...
Maan: Tallulah, it's A, not B.
Tallulah: Can I have my ID?

It Works!
After we’ve said our prayers last night before bedtime, the girls and I heard Danny snoring before he could even say his own prayers. I told the girls, “Oh, never mind, Daddy’s already sleeping,” but Tallulah yelled, “DADDY!!! WAKE UP!!!” Startled, Danny started mumbling his prayers. Tallulah then looked at me and said, “See? It works!” :D

Cup Issue
Tallulah: Mommy, can you buy me a bra?
Maan: What?! What are you going to use it for?
Tallulah: ...because Shakira's wearing one.
...so now the girls are into bellydancing. :D

Anger Issue
One night we were having dinner...
Sofia: Mommy, do you have anger issues?
Maan: What?!
Sofia: (a little impatient) I said, do you have anger issues?
Maan: (a little shocked..hehe) What? Why are you asking me that? What does that mean?
Sofia: (speaks matter-of-factly) It's when you’re angry, you cry and you get so mad.
Maan: What? Where do you learn these things?
Sofia: From Izy (her 8-year old cousin)
Maan: Are you guys watching too much TV? (Pause) No baby, I don’t have anger issues.
:D

Comparison of Adjectives
After eating too much cookies, I gave Tallulah her 'last' cookie for the night...
Tallulah: Mommy, can I have one more, please?
Maan: No. You just ate your last cookie.
Tallulah: Please? This is the 'laster'.
Maan: What?!
Tallulah: Okay, the 'lastest'! (sya pa ang galit, hehe)
Maan: (?!) No! When you say it’s the last, it IS the last. No more laster or lastest!
:D

Pirates, Mermaids, and Musical Treasures
We watched Pirates, Mermaids, and Musical Treasures yesterday at the CCP, and the kids enjoyed one of the pre-concert activities - trick or treat! :D We arrived late and so we decided not to let the girls wear their costumes anymore. The concert was okay - Sofia, at times, was participating, while Tallulah got bored (well, that's Tallulah :D) and tried to walk down the theatre aisle several times (poor me :D). Here are some photos I took during the concert:
By the way, when we were choosing and buying their costumes last week, I asked Tallulah if she'd like a penguin costume since the theme was 'under the sea' and I thought and conviced her that she'd look cute in it, she hysterically told me, "Nooooo! They will laugh at me!" :D
Happy Halloween! :)

Just Another Disney Story
Here's Sofia's latest addiction - "The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginnings." She has watched it for several times already, and this afternoon, we watched the film again.
So there's this part where Ariel and her sisters are about to take their usual morning walk with King Triton, and I asked Sofia, "Are they going for a walk now?" She answered, "They're not walking. They don't have feet."
Oo nga naman. :)

The Magic Words
So Barney sings "'Please' and 'Thank You,' they're the magic words!" Tallulah couldn't care less, but Sofia knows the song by heart and whenever she fails to say 'please' or 'thank you,' I just tell her that she forgot to say the magic word/s and voila! Hmmn, so my investment in buying all those DVDs has paid off. :)
But let me share with you my conversation with Tallulah one night:
Tallulah: Mommy, I want milk!
Maan: Baby, you forgot to say the magic word...Tallulah: Uhm..Mishka, Mushka, Mickey Mouse!
Maan: ?!Apparently, Tallulah's a 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' fan! I think Barney and Mickey should do something about this! :D

Makulay ang Buhay!
Remember when you were a kid and your Mom and Dad or your teachers used to tell you that eating vegetables will make you grow taller or bigger and stronger? I tell my kids the same thing and I must say it's effective because my daughters eat almost every vegetables I serve them, even ampalaya, believe it or not! This afternoon, while I was reading a book, my almost four-year old daughter came rushing into our room and said, “Mommy, I’m not getting faster! Ate Sabel always wins the race!” She was talking about their twist car race, and Sabel, her seven-year old cousin.
I said, “That’s okay baby, soon you'll grow taller and bigger and you'll be fast enough to beat Ate Sabel in the race!”
She screamed, “No! The vegetables are not working!”
Yeah, kids say the darndest things! :P
