One night we were having dinner...
Sofia: Mommy, do you have anger issues?
Maan: What?!
Sofia: (a little impatient) I said, do you have anger issues?
Maan: (a little shocked..hehe) What? Why are you asking me that? What does that mean?
Sofia: (speaks matter-of-factly) It's when you’re angry, you cry and you get so mad.
Maan: What? Where do you learn these things?
Sofia: From Izy (her 8-year old cousin)
Maan: Are you guys watching too much TV? (Pause) No baby, I don’t have anger issues.

Comparison of Adjectives
After eating too much cookies, I gave Tallulah her 'last' cookie for the night...
Tallulah: Mommy, can I have one more, please?
Maan: No. You just ate your last cookie.
Tallulah: Please? This is the 'laster'.
Maan: What?!
Tallulah: Okay, the 'lastest'! (sya pa ang galit, hehe)
Maan: (?!) No! When you say it’s the last, it IS the last. No more laster or lastest!
:D

The Girls in Baguio
January, I think, is the best time to visit Baguio, because (Christmas) holidays are over and Penagbenga (flower festival) is still a few weeks away, and hence, the place is not too crowded and traffic is not so bad. It is also the coldest time of the year in Baguio...brrr...
Okay. So this is, for the girls, always the best part of our Baguio trip - horseback riding! Not for me though. I hate the smell of horses' poop. Oh well, whatever makes the girls happy. Now, the stairs going to The Mansion was a challenge for Tallulah because she doesn't really like walking or running - she prefers sitting on her Dad's shoulders (just like what happened last year). This time, she made it to the top with her Dad just holding her hand, yay! :DMines View. For PhP50, we were allowed to take three (3) pictures of the gang with these big doggies (using my camera). These cute dogs are soooo heavy! We brought the kids to Tam-Awan Village hoping that a 'little hiking' would tire them since the place has several trails which they could climb and explore. Well, they didn't get tired. We (the adults) did. :DStill in Tam-awan, we had the kids sit for like fifteen (15) minutes while local artists draw/sketch their portraits for PhP100 each. The portraits didn't look exactly like them but the kids not running around (almost not moving!) for 15 minutes was almost like ART. :D We also explored Camp John Hay, bought the girls' favorite, ube jam, at Good Shepherd and tried strawberry ice cream at La Trinidad.
Till next time!Sunday, January 10, 2010
Tallulah's 4!
Tallulah turned 4 yesterday (Jan. 10) and we celebrated it a day earlier at home with some close friends and family. It was actually a triple birthday celebration because Tallulah shares the same birthday with her cousins Cuy and Izy.
Tallulah had a grand time opening her gifts! :)My sis-in-law brought a bubble machine and WE all went wild! :DYup, it's that red gown again (she refused to wear something else). Hazel here was trying to borrow Tallulah's 'princess' earrings, but to no avail. :DWe got her this since she's into hairstyling lately. I hope this doll will make her leave our hair alone..for a while..hehe. For those who came, thanks for making my girl's day! All photos are here.
